HELEN E. REICHERT

BELLEVILLE, Ill. -- Helen E. Reichert, 85, of Dupo, Ill., died Wednesday, Dec. 28, 1994, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville.

She was born Feb. 16, 1909, in Sugar Loaf Township in Illinois, daughter of Henry and Annie Thielemann Kaestner.

She married Edwin Reichert, who preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Christ United Church of Christ in Dupo, a 50-year member of the Rebecca Lodge 674 and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 485 in Dupo.

Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ann Reichert of Dupo and Ruth Needle of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.

Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at the Dashner Funeral Home in Dupo. Visitation will also be Saturday after 10 a.m. at the Christ United Church of Christ. Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at the church. The Rev. Robert Walker will officiate. Entombment will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory Mausoleum in Belleville.
