CYPRESS, Ill. -- Helen Koester Davault, 71, of Cypress died Wednesday, July 26, 2000, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, Ill.

She was born June 30, 1929, in Oak Park, Ill., daughter of George and Helen Jezbera Koester. She married Richard Davault. He died in 1986.

Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Voller of Cypress; four sons, George Koester of Algonquin, Ill., Bill Koester of Ramsey, Ill., Charles Miller of Manteno, Ill., and Ted Paulaskas of Cypress; and one brother, Donald Koester of Cypress.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

No visitation or services will be held. A memorial service will be held at a later time.

Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
