Helen Corvick

Helen Louise Corvick, 74, of Scott City died Monday, Sept. 29, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born April 13, 1929, at Illmo, Mo., daughter of Roscoe and Vesta Rendleman Webb. She and Lloyd John Corvick Sr. were married March 15, 1948, in Scott City. He died June 15, 2002.

Mrs. Corvick had been a laboratory technician at St. Francis Medical Center and Southeast Hospital.

Survivors include two daughters, Marlene Gregory of Benton, Mo., Arlene Hartle of Virginia Beach, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Michelle Corvick of Scott City; two brothers, Leroy Webb of Scott City, Gene Webb of Waterloo, Ill.; a sister, Vera Riley of Scott City; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, three daughters, four brothers, and a sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
