Helen Burfiend, 70, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1992 at her home.

She was born July 17, 1922 in Festus, the daughter of Ernest F. and Martina K. Wirth Burfiend.

She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors are one sister, Angela Mason and a nephew, Leslie Burfiend Jr. both of Perryville. She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call today at Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 6:30 to 10 a.m.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. The Rev. Steven MacDougal will officiate. Burial will be in the Fair-View First Presbyterian Cemetery in Festus.
