CAIRO, Ill. -- Heather Nicole Davis, 22, of Cairo passed away Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Heather was born Aug. 10, 1991, in Carbondale, Ill., daughter of Ronald H. Davis Jr. and Kimberly Harrell Davis.
Heather was a member of Mighty Rivers Worship Center in Cairo and was owner and manager of Mack's Restaurant in Cairo.
Heather was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Buddy Harrell; and her paternal step-grandfather, Harley A. Showalter, Jr.
Heather is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Nicole Davis of the home; her parents, Ronald H. "Bubba" Davis Jr. and Kimberly Davis of Cairo; her brother, Trae Davis of Cairo; maternal grandparents, Sue and Darrell Shemwell of Cache, Ill.; paternal grandparents, Sally Showalter of Villa Ridge, Ill., and Ronald H. Davis Sr. of Villa Ridge; uncles, Matthew Harrell, Shawn Ice, Mann Showalter, Dustin Shemwell and Paul Williams; aunts, Jessica Shemwell, Shauna Harrell-Dennis, Lisa Davis-Williams, Melissa Cain and Carol Carter; a host of other relatives; and many friends.
Friends may call from 4 and 8 p.m. Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home Villa Ridge and from 8 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the Mighty Rivers Worship Center in Cairo.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church, with Dr. Larry L. Potts officiating. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge.
Jones Funeral Home Villa Ridge is in charge of the arrangements.
