SIKESTON, Mo. -- Heartsill Daniel, 86, of Sikeston died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at his home. He was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Lamar, Ark., son of Jess and Mable Holman Daniel. SIKESTON, Mo. -- Heartsill Daniel, 86, of Sikeston died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, at his home.

He was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Lamar, Ark., son of Jess and Mable Holman Daniel. He and Helen Mae Ziegenhorn were married Nov. 2, 1939, at Dexter, Mo.

Daniel was a retired self-employed farmer and carpenter. He attended Community of Christ Church.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Donna Hasty of Sikeston; three sisters, Fay Bryant of Morehouse, Mo., Ramona Worley of Columbia, Mo., Nadene Turner of New Madrid, Mo.; a granddaughter; and a great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Matt Butrum officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery near Morley, Mo.
