Monday

Blood drive from 4 to 8 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. All donors will receive a holiday heroes recognition.

Tuesday

Diabetes basic skills class meets from 8:45 a.m. to noon in the Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center Fitness Plus conference room. The class is taught by a registered dietitian and a nurse educator. Physician referral is necessary. Call the Diabetes Center at 331-5897 for information.

Wednesday

Heart and health screenings from 7 to 10 a.m. at Saint Francis Health and Wellness Center lobby atrium. An overnight fast is required for cholesterol panels. For information, call 331-5970.

Blood drive from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Franciscan conference rooms at Saint Francis Conference Center next to the cafeteria. The drive is sponsored by the American Red Cross.
