PUXICO, Mo. -- H.C. "Junior" Wineinger, 78, of Puxico died Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2000, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter, Mo.
He was born March 20, 1922, at Acorn Ridge, Mo., son of H.C. and Carrie Schnarr Wineinger Sr. He and Edna Staats Stilts were married in 1980 in Puxico.
Wineinger was a lifelong resident of Puxico. He was a member of General Baptist Church, and life member of Puxico VFW Post 7822.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps.
Survivors include his wife; a son, David Stilts of Wappapello, Mo.; two daughters, Marilyn Bishop of Memphis, Tenn., Marlene Martin of Edwardsville, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a grandson, two brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 6-8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Kenneth Lambert officiating. Burial will be in McGee Cemetery at McGee, Mo.
