MOUNDS, Ill. -- Hazel G. Jordan Tanner, 90, of Mounds died Sunday, Aug. 1, 1999, at the Western Baptist Hospital at Paducah, Ky.
She was born June 15, 1909, at Mill Creek. She was a retired Bell telephone operator and was a school bus driver for Meridian School District of Mounds for several years.
She is survived by a son, Harold "Dutch" Jordan of Valparaiso, Ind.; a sister, Ruby Kral of Mason City, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis T. Jordan, her second husband, Howard Tanner, two sons and a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Jones Funeral Home at Villa Ridge.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Verlee Eaker will officiate, with burial to follow at the St. John's Cemetery near Dongola.
