HAZEL L. MOORE

MARBLE HILL -- Hazel L. Moore, 80, of Marble Hill, died Sunday, May 1, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 4, 1914, at Shetley Creek, daughter of George and Vina Short Sites. She married James R. Moore, July 29, 1935.

She and her husband operated a grocery store in Marble Hill for many years. She was a member of New Trace Creek Baptist Church in Bollinger County.

Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Shirley Houston of Marble Hill, Bernetta Elfrink of Leopold, Sylvia Jordan of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Gene Sites of St. Louis; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Friends may call after 4:30 p.m. today at Baker Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Trace Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. Frederick Mouser officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
