JACKSON -- Hazel Judd, 84, of Jackson, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1992, at her home. She was born Dec. 19, 1907, at Aurora, daughter of Theodore and Effie Deevers Steger. She married Clinton Judd June 27, 1933. He died Dec. 1, 1981. Judd moved to Fruitland in 1943 from St. Louis, and then to Jackson in 1967...

JACKSON -- Hazel Judd, 84, of Jackson, died Monday, Sept. 14, 1992, at her home.

She was born Dec. 19, 1907, at Aurora, daughter of Theodore and Effie Deevers Steger. She married Clinton Judd June 27, 1933. He died Dec. 1, 1981.

Judd moved to Fruitland in 1943 from St. Louis, and then to Jackson in 1967.

Survivors include a son, Jim Judd of Jackson; a brother, Leo "Bud" Steger of Kelso; a sister, Sue Brown of Merced, Calif., and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Rodney Travis will officiate, with burial in Russell Heights Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 10 a.m. Friday.
