Hazel Alma Jaco, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born June 26, 1917, at Sedgewickville, Mo., daughter of Edward and Sarah Crites. She and Harley Jaco were married July 10, 1936, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died Dec. 31, 1978...

Hazel Alma Jaco, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, May 1, 2004, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 26, 1917, at Sedgewickville, Mo., daughter of Edward and Sarah Crites. She and Harley Jaco were married July 10, 1936, at Fredericktown, Mo. He died Dec. 31, 1978.

Jaco was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church.

Survivors include five sons, Virgil Jaco of Sikeston, Mo., Edward Jaco Jr. of Benton, Mo., and Charles, Jerry and Ray Jaco of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Shelby Looney of Delta; a sister, Helen Seabaugh of Perryville, Mo.; 17 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Darren Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
