HAZEL HENSLEY

BENTON -- Hazel Vera Hensley, 78, Benton Route 1, died Friday, Sept. 13, 1996, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 5, 1918, at Benton, daughter of Marion and Cora Utenage Riley. She and James T. Hensley were married Nov. 5, 1949, in Hartford, Ill.

Hensley was a member of Unity Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Gordon Hensley of South Roxana, Ill.; two daughters, Brenda Whitten of Las Vegas, Nev., Marsha Stowell of Grandview; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Unity Church, with the Rev. Dale Huff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
