Hazel Boese

Hazel Carlota Boese, 57, passed away Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 10, 1964, in Lilbourn, Missouri, daughter of Junior Edward Jaco and Rosaura Lara. She and Chris Boese were married on Sept. 13, 1996, in Chaffee, Missouri.

Hazel enjoyed traveling; her favorite spot to visit was Estes Park, Colorado. She loved to decorate her home. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother and was an inspiration to all.

Loving survivors include her husband of 25 years of marriage, Chris Boese; two children, Amber (Michael) Seeley of Jackson and Robbie Griffith of Cape Girardeau; two stepchildren, Nikki Miller of Columbia, Missouri, and Danny Boese of Cape Girardeau; and four grandchildren, Adriana and Jocelyn Doran of Jackson, Blake Griffith of Cape Girardeau and Brian Shoen of South Carolina.

Also surviving is a brother, Edward Jaco of Cape Girardeau.

Visitation will be from noon until service time Friday, Nov. 12, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the donor's charity of choice.
