HAZEL ALLEN

BLOOMFIELD -- Funeral for Hazel A. Allen of Bloomfield will be held at 2 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter. The Rev. Vyron Yount will officiate, with burial in Bloomfield Cemetery.

Allen, 86, died Tuesday, Aug. 18, 1998, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 28, 1912, in Rock Castle County, Ky. She and Claude E. Allen were married Nov. 29, 1953, in Hernando, Miss. He died March 9, 1981.

Allen was formerly of St. Louis and had worked at McDonnell Douglas. She had lived in Bloomfield since 1973, and was a member of Rebekah Lodge.

Survivors include several stepchildren, stepgrandchildren, and great-stepgrandchildren.
