PERRYVILLE -- Hattie S. Detjen of Perryville died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 79. She was born Oct. 7, 1913, at Uniontown, the daughter of Gottfried and Hilda Herring Bock. She married Oscar Detjen on Feb. 24, 1946. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1989...

PERRYVILLE -- Hattie S. Detjen of Perryville died Thursday, March 25, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was 79.

She was born Oct. 7, 1913, at Uniontown, the daughter of Gottfried and Hilda Herring Bock. She married Oscar Detjen on Feb. 24, 1946. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 1989.

Survivors include: one son, Larry Detjen of Lexington, Ky.; one daughter, Betty Roth of Cape Girardeau; three brothers, Walter Bock of Perryville, Norman Bock of Downing, Calif., and Arthur Bock of Jacksonville, Fla.; two sisters, Lorene Liemer of Perryville and Dorothy Koenig of Hazelwood; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
