WILSON CITY -- Harvey L. Williams, 60, of Wilson City died Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2000, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
He was born March 26, 1939, at Wyatt, son of Eddie Jackson and Helen Williams. He and Erma Brooks were married July 12, 1977.
Williams retired as supervisor with United Parcel Service in Chicago about five years ago. He was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Debra Fields and Lisa Brooks of Chicago; two brothers, James Williams of Chicago, Darrin Duncan of Buffalo, N.Y.; three sisters, Protia Duncan, Marie Duncan and Vanessa Birmingham of Buffalo; two grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Holly Grove Church, with the Rev. T.R. Tyus officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery at Charleston.
Friends may call at the church Monday from noon until service time.
