The Lord called Harvey Ray Bennett home on Sept. 19th after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Harvey was born April 2, 1942 in El Centro, CA, son of Ray and Emma (Kruse) Bennett. He graduated from Illmo-Scott High School in Scott City, MO and graduated from the University of Missouri, Rolla School of Mines in 1965 with a degree in electrical engineering. Harvey married Carol Ware, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Omar Ware, on Nov. 26, 1965...

Harvey was employed for 32 years with Continental Oil Co. Harvey was a member of Conoco's Emergency Response Team, served on The Shepherd School Board for 11 years, and was a 4-H member and leader for many years.

Harvey is survived by his wife Carol, three children, Kimberly of Phoenix, AZ, and Cynthia and Travis of Billings, MT, his parents Ray and Emma Bennett of Jackson, MO, formerly of Scott City & Wappapello, sister Carol Roth of Jackson, MO, and brother Robert of Stewardson, IL.Memorials to Big Sky Hospice, 1041 N. 29th, Billings, MT 59101. Memorial services will be held Sat., Sept. 27 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Baptist Church, 1145 Nutter Blvd., Billings, MT. 59105.
