MCCLURE, Ill. -- Harry Williams, 94, of McClure died Thursday, March 9, 2006, at his home.

He was born July 27, 1911, in Massillon, Ohio, son of Ben and Martha Mann Williams. He and Josephine Miller were married in 1937. She died in 1999.

Williams was a farmer, and of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include a son, Jim (Hester) Williams of McClure; three daughters, JoAnn Baugher, Lou Etta Smith and Diana Meggs, all of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Teresa Phillips, Terry Baugher, James Allen Smith, Jan Smith, Jamie Williams; seven great-grandchildren, Talina Dodson, Alex, Kelsi and Amanda Phillips, Jason Smith, Gage Baugher Shelton, Paige Baugher and Jeremiah Hale; two great-great-grandchildren, Dannie Dale and Aizlyn Dodson; a son-in-law, Richard Lee Baugher of Olive Branch, Ill.; special friends, Bruce, Tim and Todd Vick.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and two grandsons, Dan and Ricky.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Crain Funeral Home in Tamms, Ill.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Kirby officiating. Burial will be in Lindsey Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Lindsey Cemetery and will be accepted at the funeral home.
