PERRYVILLE -- Harry W. Fassold, 77, of Perryville, died Tuesday, April 27, 1993, at American Care Center.
He was born Sept. 27, 1915, at Perryville, son of William and Odeal M. Prevallet Fassold. He and Stella M. Pecaut were married June 8, 1957.
Fassold was retired from International Shoe Co., and was a bartender at American Legion Post 133.
He was a member of St. Vincent's Church, Holy Name Society, KC Council 1263, AmVets Post 94, River Hills Eagles Lodge 4034, and American Legion Post 133. Fassold served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Cindy Yamnitz of St. Louis; a sister, Myrtle Moore of Perryville, and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents and a brother.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church. The Rev. Charles Rice will officiate, with burial in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-9:45 a.m. Thursday. Parish and KC wake will be at 7 tonight, and American Legion wake at 7:15.
