Harry Dale Seabaugh, 61, of Troy, Mo., died Sunday, April 29, 2007, at the home of a daughter.

The son of Joel Cornelius and Clara Marjory Collins Seabaugh, he was born Aug. 21, 1945, in Chaffee, Mo. On Oct. 22, 1966, in St. Louis, he married Dorothea Hagan. They later divorced.

He is survived by two daughters, Michelle Williams and husband Jay of Pleasant Hill, Ill., LaWanda Wells and husband Lemmie of Troy; eight grandchildren, Katrina, Erica, Dylan and Wyatt Williams, Abigail, Allison, Lemmie and Audrie Wells; five sisters, Esther Henderson and husband Philip of Pontiac, Mo., Barbara Williamson and husband Tony of Jackson, Jackie Quade of Cape Girardeau, Joan James and husband Doug of Jackson, Thelma Flowers and companion Johnny "Cecil" Morrisson of Oak Ridge; four brothers, L.C. Seabaugh of Cypress, Texas, Marlin Seabaugh and wife Anita of DeQuincy, La., Terry Seabaugh and wife Barbara of Ragley, La., and Kevin Seabaugh of Jackson.

Mr. Seabaugh worked for Builder's Block Construction as a drywall taper.

He served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War as a radio operator.

He was a member of the Painters Union and loved hummingbirds, horseback riding and fishing.

As were his wishes, cremation rites were accorded and a memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today at New Bethel Baptist Church, 6137 County Road 525, Jackson. The Rev. John Rhodes will officiate.

Donations in Harry's memory may be made to Community Loving Care Hospice or to the American Cancer Society in care of Ingersoll Chapel.

Ingersoll Chapel in Troy is in charge of arrangements.
