Harry W. Lingle, 86, of Anna died Friday, Aug. 13, 1999, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 10, 1912, to Ira and Clara E. Meisenheimer Lingle near Mill Creek, Ill. He was married to Eula Baldwin May 6, 1933, in Anna.
Lingle was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. He worked as a truck driver most of his life.
He is survived by two sons, Carlos Lingle of Lena, Ill., and Bobby Lingle of Vienna, Ill; two daughters, Helen Head of Anna and Margaret Poole of Cobden, Ill; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife and brother.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Hileman and Parr Funeral Services, with Dr. Richard Hertenstein and the Rev. Floyd Stout officiating. The burial will at St. John's Cemetery.
