Harry L. Bekemeier, 80, 539 S. Middle, died Monday, Oct. 7, 1991, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Sept. 22, 1911, in St. Louis, son of William and Mathilda Bettman Bekemeier. He and Ruby C. Franz were married June 5, 1942, in Cape Girardeau. She died Nov. 30, 1989.
Bekemeier was a salesman with Fairbanks Morrison more than 30 years, and then worked in the office at Mid South Steel seven years. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, including nieces Billie Haupt of Cape Girardeau and Chris Fulton of Jackson; three sisters-in-law, Ruth Brennecke of Cape Girardeau, Dorothy and Dolly Bekemeier of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by a sister.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. David Dissen will officiate, with burial in Memorial Park.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.
