CHAFFEE -- Harry F. Funkhouser, 72, of 124 Helen died Saturday, May 9, 1998, at his home.
He was born Aug. 5, 1924, at Blodgett, son of Lee and Maggie Hardest Funkhouser.
He married Margaret Hutson on Jan. 30, 1948. She died Nov. 25, 1978. He married Ida Mae Wiseman on March 3, 1990, and she survives of the home.
He had worked at General Motors in St. Louis and was a retired member of U.A.W. Local 25. He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II. He was a member of the United Church of God in Jackson.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda Davis of Rockford, Ill.; a stepson, Dale Wiseman of Delta; a stepdaughter, Becky Powell of Charleston; a sister, Ruth Schmidt of St. Louis; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Alvie Surface officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
