Harry W. Chrismer Jr., 80, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Dec. 31, 1917, at Ferguson, son of Harry W. and Lila Mae Williams Chrismer Sr. He and Ethel E. Harris were married in 1952 in St. Louis.
Chrismer was a retired railroad inspector. He was a member of American Legion. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, and during World War II he served in the Merchant Marines.
Survivors include a sister, Lila Hedigan of Banning, Calif.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Fairview Heights, Ill.
