Harry C. Doughty, 84, of Cape Girardeau, died Wednesday, Feb. 16, 1994, at the Lutheran Home.
He was born Aug. 30, 1909, in Cape Girardeau, son of Harry and Agnes Meyer Doughty.
Doughty was a riverboat cook many years with John I. Hay Co. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942-45.
Survivors include a brother, Morris Doughty of Norfolk, Va., and a sister, Jane McKeown of Cape Girardeau.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Fairmount Cemetery, with the Rev. David Dissen officiating.
Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
