BRIDGETON, Mo. -- Harry Boxdorfer, 83, of Bridgeton died Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, at the Life Care Center in Bridgeton.
He was born March 10, 1917, in Perry County, Mo., son of Louis Francis and Anna Catherine Yamnitz Boxdorfer. He and Luella Wibbenmeyer were married Jan. 21, 1942. She died Sept. 22, 1968.
Boxdorfer was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Boxdorfer of St. Peters, Mo., and Kenneth Boxdorfer of Bridgeton; one daughter, Delores Dunkin of Troy, Mo.; one brother, Gilbert Boxdorfer of Kenesaw, Neb.; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. Monday and from 6:30 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Young and Sons Chapel in Perryville.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel. Burial will be in St. Maurus Catholic Cemetery.
