Harriet M. Freeman, 89, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Aug. 22, 2005, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born June 27, 1916, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Frank P. and Martha E. McQueen Foster. She and Thomas R. Freeman were married May 2, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died in June 1984.
Mrs. Freeman was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Martha Muench of Cape Girardeau, Christy Kurz of Peoria, Ill., Carole Freeman of Nashville, Ill.; a son, Thomas R. Freeman Jr. of Cedar Grove, N.C.; a brother, Norbert Foster of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Martha Lou McGinty of Cape Girardeau; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and two sisters.
A private graveside service will be held Wednesday at Fairmount Cemetery, with the Rev. Mike Shupert officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Lutheran Home or First Baptist Church.
