BENTON, Mo. -- Funeral Mass for Harold J. Ziegler of Kansas City, Kan., was held Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kan. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. BENTON, Mo. -- Funeral Mass for Harold J. Ziegler of Kansas City, Kan., was held Saturday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Kansas City, Kan. Burial was in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

Ziegler, 64, died Wednesday, July 5, 2000, at his home.

He was born Sept. 15, 1935, at Benton, Mo., son of John and Coletta Ziegler. His wife, Doris, died in November 1989.

Ziegler moved to Kansas City 36 years ago from Chaffee, Mo. He was a fitter and welder with Midwest Conveyor Co. He was a member of St. Patrick's Church.

Survivors include two sons, Bradley and Michael Ziegler of Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Jerome Ziegler of Jackson, Mo.; six sisters, Irma Beussink of Jackson, Mary Horrell of Chaffee, LaVerne Heuring of Benton, Josephine Terry of Florida, Joyce Schilling of Texas, Geralyn Riley of Blodgett, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
