Harold Edwin Sprenger, 87, of Scott City died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003, at his home.
He was born July 5, 1915, at Illmo, son of August and Amanda Ristig Sprenger. He and Eileen Alwine Emile were married March 24, 1940, at Illmo. She died Feb. 3, 2000.
Sprenger was a self-employed farmer. He was a member of Eisleben Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Heraleen Bowers of Scott City; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and Saturday after 9 a.m. at Eisleben Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with the Rev. Bob Azinger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
