LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Harold Robbins, 74, of Leopold died Sunday, July 15, 2001, in Cape Girardeau.
He was born April 7, 1927, in Judsonia, Ark., son of Jefferson and Lucy Evans Robbins. He and Loris Spinks were married Sept. 20, 1988, at Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Robbins was ordained June 30, 1992, and had been pastor of At the Cross Church in Leopold since July 1993.
He was a member of At the Cross Church, Lutesville VFW Post 5900, a Shrine club, Scottish Rite, Eastern Star Lodge in Lewiston, Texas, and past master of Blue Masonic Lodge in Lewiston.
Robbins served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Lea Robbins of Lenore, Idaho; two daughters, Deborah Evans of Elk Creek, Mo., Bonnie Mitchell of Cabool, Mo.; a stepson, Leemon Priest of Cape Girardeau; two stepdaughters, Elaine Ramsey and Penny Ross of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Lonnie Robins of Sinclair, Mo.; three sisters, Ruby Pruitt of Sinclair, Lana Darlaque of St. John's, Ruth Militti of Marble Hill, Mo.; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister and a grandchild.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Jack Owens and Vester Keesee officiating. Burial will be in Barks Chapel Cemetery at Crump, Mo.
