Harold "Big H" Niswonger, 53, of Jackson passed away Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at his home.
He was born May 12, 1955, in Cape Gir¿ar¿deau to Harold F. and Ann Pohlmann Niswonger.
Niswonger was a 1973 graduate of Jackson High School. He retired from Procter & Gamble after 22 years of service, and the past two years was a driver for Cape County Transit.
He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and Elks Lodge in Jackson. Harold enjoyed restoring his 1980 Ford truck and playing his "Big H" sound system at weddings, anniversaries and parties.
Loving survivors include his mother, Ann, of Jackson; a brother, Joe (Terri) Niswonger of Old Appleton, Mo.; a sister, Dianna (Dick) Jungels of Joliet, Ill; two nephews, Matthew and David; and three nieces, Vicky, Debra and Nicole; and many close, personal friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold, in 1978.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Jackson Elks Lodge. An Elks service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
