GIPSY -- Funeral service for Harold N. Hastings of Tunnel Hill, Ill., will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Rudy Pittman officiating. Burial will be in Berrong Cemetery here.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4:30-8 p.m. today.
Hastings, 69, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 1994, at his home.
He was born Feb. 2, 1925, at Gipsy, son of Glenn George and Esther Hinkle Hastings. He and Norma Dotray were married Oct. 29, 1960, at Cahokia, Ill.
Hastings was a switchman with Terminal Railroad in St. Louis for 35 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Loyce Borden of state of California, and two grandchildren.
