Harold N. "Hal" Crider, 77, 1960 Briarwood, died Thursday, May 2, 1991, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born Oct. 30, 1913, at Meta, son of Dr. Adolphus J. and Clara C. Otke Crider. He and Etheleen Dunning were married March 28, 1968, in Cape Girardeau.
Crider received a B.S. degree in pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and was a graduate of Kemper Military School. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1940 from Owensboro, Ky. He served on the SEMO District Fair Board 15 years, and was a past president of Missouri State Fair Association.
He was a medical service representative with Parke-Davis and Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Companies. He had also been a relief pharmacist at Piedmont.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Harold Crider Jr. of Paris, Tex., Jackson Crider of O'Fallon; a daughter, Linda Currin of Greer, S.C.; a sister, Helen Marshall of St. Louis; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Russell Crider.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate.
There is no visitation.
