ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Harold Menees of Anna will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Chapel here. The Rev. Al Slayter will officiate, with burial in Casper Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

Menees, 64 years old, died Friday, Feb. 8, 1991, at the home of his brother.

He was born June 19, 1926, son of Floyd and Gladys Wall Menees. He and the former Agnes Shepard Ballard were married March 15, 1957. She died Feb. 28, 1987.

Menees was a member of Carroll P. Foster VFW Post 3455, and vice president of Laborer's Local 1330 of Anna. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Lloyd and Wilhelmina Menees of Millstadt; nieces and nephews.
