ADVANCE, Mo. -- Harold Gene Lineberry Sr., 76, of Advance passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born July 13, 1937, at Portageville, Mo., the son of Zelma and Alva Lee Patton Lineberry. Harold retired as a carpenter and homebuilder. He was a member of Zalma General Baptist Church...

ADVANCE, Mo. -- Harold Gene Lineberry Sr., 76, of Advance passed away Friday, Aug. 9, 2013 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born July 13, 1937, at Portageville, Mo., the son of Zelma and Alva Lee Patton Lineberry.

Harold retired as a carpenter and homebuilder. He was a member of Zalma General Baptist Church.

Harold and Wanda Stevens were united in marriage Oct. 29, 1955, at Risco, Mo. She survives.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Lineberry of Advance; two sons, Harold Gene (Brenda) Lineberry Jr., of O'Fallon, Mo., and Danny Wayne (Michelle) Lineberry of Mount Juliet, Tenn.; a daughter, Tina Lineberry of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a sister, Carmen Harvey of Montgomery City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. today at the chapel with Rev. Wayne Burchett, Rev. Keith Price and Rev. Aaron Lingle officiating. Burial will follow at Morgan Memorial Park in Advance.
