HILLSBORO, Mo. -- Harold Dean Greer, 83, of Hillsboro passed away Oct. 3, 2014, at his home.
He was born Sept. 19, 1931, in Bessville, Missouri, son of Tony and Dora Lee Myers Greer.
Mr. Greer was a supervisor for Bemis Bag Co. in St. Louis and served his country proudly in the United States Air Force.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Angie Baldwin of Philadelphia; a great-granddaughter, Jessica Young of Philadelphia; significant other friend of 14 years, Barbara Keefe of the home; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Janice Greer; brother, Donnie and Howard; and sisters Rita, Javata and Odetta.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Missouri.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Fred Ritter officiating. Burial will be in New Trace Creek Cemetery near Glenallen, Missouri.
