Funeral for Harold Gerlach of Cape Girardeau will be held at 11 a.m. today at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Paul Short will officiate. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Gerlach, 66, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2001, at his home.

He was born Jan. 15, 1935, in Cape Girardeau, son of Harold and Amanda Borchelt Gerlach.

Gerlach was a painter with Nip Kelley.

Survivors include a sister, Salma McClard of Orofino, Idaho.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and two brothers.
