SCOTT CITY - Funeral services will be held Monday for Harold Friedolin Blattel of scott city. He died Saturday, March 16, 1991, at his home. He was 71.

He was born Aug. 8, 1919, at Ancell, Mo., the son of Otto Blattel and Adeline Hess Blattel. He was a retired cook who had been employed by the Central Packing Co.

He married Shirley Bollinger on April 28, 1956, in Kelso. She survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Sheila Madras of Brentwood and Lisa Hale of Scott City; one brother, Marvin Blattel of Tennessee; two sisters, Bernice Urhahn of Benton and Zelma Scheper of Scott City; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and three brothers.

The body is at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City, where friends may call after 2 p.m. today. There will be parish prayers at 7 p.m. today. The funeral will be at the Amick-Burnett chapel at 11 a.m. Monday, with the Rev. Roger Leveillee, pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, officiating.

Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
