HAROLD ELLIS

PERRYVILLE -- Harold J. Ellis, 83, of Perryville died Monday, May 26, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 6, 1914, in Perry County to Harry and Lottie Kline Ellis. He married Catherine M. Erlacker on Feb. 7, 1942.

He was a farmer. He was a Boy Scout leader for the Brewer Scout Troop and an active member of ASCS.

He was a member of Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer.

Survivors include two sons, William W. Ellis of Cape Girardeau and Charles "Chuck" Ellis of Perryville; two sisters, Helen Davis and Olene Heflin of Perryville; and five grandsons.

Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday at Christ the Savior Church in Brewer.

A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church. Graveside services will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery with Rev. Felipe Martinez officiating.
