CAIRO, Ill. -- Harold D. Osborne, 71, of Vandalia and formerly of Cairo died Tuesday, April 19, 1994, at Utlaught Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
He was born Sept. 17, 1922, at Vandalia, the son of Clifford and Elva Elam Osborne.
He was a repairman for the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. before his retirement. He attended the Cairo Baptist Church, and was a member of Cairo Elks Lodge No. 651. He also was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, of Vandalia; a son, Paul Osborne, of Litchfield; two daughters, Jamie M. Henna of Vandalia and Lisa E. Cripe of Bluff City; two brothers, Gene and Franklin Osborne, both of Vandalia; and five grandchildren.
Graveside service was at 1 p.m. Friday at Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge. Larry L. Potts officiated, and Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo was in charge of arrangements.
