JACKSON, Mo. -- Funeral for Harold Isham Beasley of Naylor, Mo., was held Dec. 24, 2001, at Fowler-Sullivan Funeral Home in Neelyville, Mo. The Rev. J. Michael Heston officiated.
Beasley, 95, died Friday, Dec. 21, 2001, at West Vue Nursing Center in West Plains, Mo.
He was born June 16, 1906, at Tebbetts, Mo. He and Annis Ferrell Lassiter were married July 31, 1945, in Corning, Ark. She died March 2, 1997.
Beasley was a self-employed farmer and retired postmaster at Naylor. He also made and repaired musical instruments, specializing in the violin.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Garry Lassiter of Naylor, David Beasley of Jackson, James Lassiter of Sealy, Texas; three daughters, Virginia Heston and Margie Slayton of West Plains, Donna Seal of Arnold, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
