Hallie Lillian Pinkerton, 90, of Jackson passed away Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Jackson Manor.
She was born April 24, 1915, at Apple Creek, daughter of Robert and Mary McCain Rumfelt. She and Charles Pinkerton were married March 7, 1937. He passed away Jan. 8, 1967.
She was a housewife and member of the High Hill Church of God.
Survivors include five sons, Elmer and Mary Pinkerton of Pocahontas, Ed and Sharon Pinkerton of Jackson, Jim and Aggie Pinkerton of O'Fallon, Mo., Kenny and Kathy Pinkerton of Chaffee, Mo., John Pinkerton of Jackson; three daughters, Ruth and LeLand Miller of Hazelwood, Mo., Janice and Clyde Reames of West Plains, Mo., Rosie Estes of Fayetteville, Ark.; two sisters, Hanna Cotner of Cape Girardeau, Joe Ann Johnson of Brookfield, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; 19 stepgrandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nine great-stepgrandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three daughters, four sisters, six brothers, a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Mike Huffman and Rev. John Rhodes will officiate, with burial in High Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the High Hill Cemetery Fence Fund.
