HALLIE EVANS CRUTCHER

DEXTER -- Hallie Christine Evans Crutcher, 86, of Dexter, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 1995, at the Dexter Nursing Center.

She was born April 30, 1909, at Bloomfield, daughter of Webb Baker and Delia Barham Baker. She and William Edison Evans were married Dec. 10, 1926. He preceded her in death Feb. 18, 1970. She then married Clarence Crutcher. He preceded her in death Sept. 17, 1966.

Crutcher was a member of the First Christian Church in Dexter.

Survivors include a son, William G. Evans of Dexter; four daughters, Mary Ellen Pippins of Dexter, Betty Ann Mouser of Oceanside, Calif., Patricia Sue Miller of Cape Girardeau and Judith Kay Rimel of Dexter; a brother, Melvin Baker of Dexter; a sister, Charlene Armes of Essex; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. today. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Vaughn Wright will officiate, with burial in the Dexter Cemetery.
