FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- It is with great sadness that the family of Halbert Guyle Wulfers announce his passing due to cancer at the age of 66 on Friday, April 29, 2022, at Flagstaff Medical Center in Flagstaff.
Hal was born May 20, 1955, in Cape Girardeau to John A. and Joy Swindle Wulfers.
He grew up in Cape Girardeau and was a graduate of Cape Girardeau Central High School.
Survivors include a son, Justin (Chelsea) Wulfers of Aurora, Colorado; two sisters, Joyce Streiler of St. Louis and Diana Hinchey of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchild, Axel Wulfers of Aurora; five nephews and one niece; and three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Hal was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald Wulfers.
Special thanks to the palliative care staff and the chaplains at Flagstaff Medical Center, who provided excellent care and support for Hal and the family.
