H. Bernice Osborn

H. Bernice Osborn, 88, of Cape Girardeau died Thursday, March 30, 2017, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Nov. 12, 1928, in Centralia, Illinois, to Harry and Christina Marie Symington Treloggen. She and Frank E. Osborn were married June 10, 1951, at Centralia. He passed away July 24, 2003.

She was a life-long member of Abbey Road Christian Church in Cape Girardeau, Four Seasons Garden Club and member and past president of the Jaycee Wives. She was a lecturer for Weight Watchers and worked for Loehr Employment Services and Hartford’s.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Jim (Diana) Osborn of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and John Osborn of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Joyce Barylski and Julie Osborn, both of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Monday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Cape County Memorial Park Mausoleum.
