Gwyndlon Wanita Wells, 68, 327 Morgan Oak, died Monday, March 6, 1995, at her home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Venice, Ill., daughter of William and Mercedes Queen Berry. She married Edgar Charles Wells, who died July 22, 1979.
Wells was a member of Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine of Jerusalem in Highland, Ill., and Full Gospel Church in Collinsville, Ill.
Survivors include two sons, Jimmy Wells of Alton, Ill., Roger Wells of Springfield, Ill.; five daughters, Mercedes Smith of Collinsville, Janet Martin of Bainbridge, Ind., Claudia Wells of Maryville, Ill., Dorothea Shipman of Junction City, Kan., Robin Burton of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Ricky Berry of McClave, Colo.; three sisters, Joann Scravanti, Helen Lewis and Darlene Garrean, all of Twin Falls, Idaho; five stepsisters; three stepbrothers; 23 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, a sister and two stepbrothers.
Friends may call at Herbert A. Kassly Funeral Home in Collinsville after 4 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Collinsville.
Ford and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
