BERNIE, Mo. -- Guy "Bill" Craft, 83, of Bernie died Friday, May 4, 2001, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 23, 1917, at Bernie, son of Eddie Francis and Emmor E. Pippins Craft. He and Mary Lee Akins were married July 29, 1942, at Malden, Mo.
Craft worked for MFA Agricultural Service Fertilizer and Grain for 30 years before retiring. He was a member of the White Oak Grove General Baptist Church of Bernie.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Jeanette Parish of Bernie; a brother, Homer Craft of Bernie; a sister, Pansy Teeters of Elkhart, Ill.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers, a sister and a half brother.
Friends may call at Rainey Funeral Home in Bernie from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Revs. Bill Pennington and Don Wells will officiate, with burial in the Bernie Cemetery.
