SIKESTON, Mo. -- Guadalupe Gonzales, 86, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006, at his home.
He was born April 9, 1920, in Pintada, N.M., son of Flavian and Guadalupe Baca. He and Etta Ruth Cashion were married April 11, 1963, in Santa Rosa, N.M.
Gonzales retired from Lambert's Cafe. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Youn Gonzales of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Regina Denning of Sikeston, Golda Henderson of Tallapoosa, Ga.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Inurnment will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Missouri State Veterans Cemetery Columbarium in Bloomfield, Mo. The Rev. Cotus James, military chaplain, will officiate. Military honors will be conducted by Missouri Military Funeral Honor Guard.
Nunnelee Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
