ANNA, Ill. -- Grover M. Spear, 73, of Anna died Friday, Dec. 6, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. He was born March 21, 1918 in Anna, the son of Martin Spears and Sarah Wrinkle Spears. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Anna and a RSVP Volunteer with 20,000 hours of service...

ANNA, Ill. -- Grover M. Spear, 73, of Anna died Friday, Dec. 6, 1991 at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born March 21, 1918 in Anna, the son of Martin Spears and Sarah Wrinkle Spears.

He was a member of the First Christian Church in Anna and a RSVP Volunteer with 20,000 hours of service.

He is survived by one brother, Chester Spears, Anna; two sisters, Lillian Zumwalt and Opal Heckert, both of Homosassa Springs, Fla.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 1 p.m. at the Crain Funeral Home in Anna with the Rev. Steve Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow in the Anna Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
